Can you describe the impact of Sense International (Romania) work in the life of people with deafblindness?
C.B.: SI(R) has become, since 2001 until now, an example of best practices in the world of non-governmental organisations involved in improving the quality of life for people with disabilities. The positive impact in the life of those with deafblindness is the natural result of four converging principles that guide the organization: vision, strategy, resources, promotion.
What do you think Sense International (Romania) priority should be in the years to come?
C.B.: One of the future priorities should target supporting the inclusion of people with deafblindness in the local community, by organizing interesting and relaxing events which they could attend, according to the abilities and skills of each individual, together with families and volunteers.
What is your most pleasant memory when you think about Sense International (Romania)?
C.B.: At SI(R), I met a team which is committed and perfectly synchronized, where you can feel the satisfaction of a job well done. Pleasant memories come from experiences shared with those who become your friends, beyond professional obligations, based on mutual respect and appreciation.
