The www.surdocecitate.ro platform is a website created by Sense International Foundation Romania. Sense International Romania is a Romanian non-governmental organization, founded in 2001, a private, non-profit, apolitical legal person, independent of any other institution or person, Romanian or foreign.

Sense International Romania is a charity that provides support to people with multisensory impairments/ deafblindness to give them access to independent life. The purpose of the www.surdocecitate.ro platform is to provide information, free of charge, about the organization’s programs, about existing services in Romania for people with deafblindness, as well as access to specialized materials and courses for parents of children and adults with multisensory impairments/ deafblindness (combined deficiency in different degrees of vision and hearing).

What information will be kept?

Sense International Romania will collect and preserve the personal information of those who:
• request information for which a representative of the organisation will provide a written response;
• will ask for support in accessing services that appear on the site;

Personal data (name, address, email address, telephone, as well as any other information through which a person can be identified) will be processed in accordance with Romanian Law no. 677/2001 on the protection of persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

Under the above mentioned law, any person have the right to access, to intervene in personal data, to object to the processing of such data and to request the deletion of data. For the exercise of this right, the person may apply in writing with an application dated and signed to the Sense International Foundation Romania.

How do we use information about you?

The information you provide is used to provide you with a specialized response, to be provided with information and access to the services that Sense International has, or to access specialized materials, courses and books.

Sense International Romania does not sell lists of names of persons or other personal details to any other organization or company.
We conduct statistics and analyze the data obtained globally to report to the organization’s founders, but we will not provide the personal data through which a person can be identified.
