Aproaching deafblindness/multisensory disabilities in a teaching context

Sense International Romania is launching the first training program approved by the Ministry of Education called Approach to Deafblindness/Multiple Sensory Disabilities in a Teaching Context, which will take place online between November 4 - 29, 2024.
Choose to participate in this program, and you will deepen your knowledge about deafblindness alongside a team of trainers with a vast experience.
Through a series of practical and theoretical activities, you will learn about the historical context and causes of this disability, how these individuals communicate, key principles regarding orientation and mobility, intervention elements, as well as the assessment of children with deafblindness/multisensory dizabilities, curriculum design, and early intervention.
After four successful editions of the Initiation Course in Deafblindness, we invite you to enroll in our first training program approved by the Ministry of Education, an in-depth program that will offer 18-20 transferable professional credits.

Who is this training course for?
This training course is designed for teachers in special or mainstream education who work with children with deafblindness or sensory disabilities, providing them with the necessary knowledge to work with them.
Structure
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 35 students. The course is structured into 3 modules, totaling 60 hours of study, as follows:
- Online courses (ZOOM) with the trainers' presence: 30 hours;
- Individual study and practice: 30 hours;
- Final assessment: individual portfolios.
Upon completion, graduates will receive a Graduation Certificate issued by Sense International Romania, stating the number of study hours. The program is approved by the Ministry of Education and is included in the list of complementary programs with 18-20 transferable professional credits.
Costs and payment
Attending this course comes with a cost of 850 RON until October 20th, 2024, and 1,000 RON after this date.
Payment can be made by bank transfer to the account RO21RNCB0077050232290004 opened by Sense International Romania Foundation at BCR Sector 6 Bucharest, with the mention COST COURSE DEAFBLINDNESS NAME-SURNAME or through the Netopia payment platform after the official opening of registrations.
