Launching The Voice of People with Deafblindness in Romania

The Foundation Sense International Romania invites you on Monday, June 27th 2022, between 12.00 – 13.00 EET, to the launching of the project The Voice of People with Deafblindness in Romania. The event will take place online, in Zoom.

June 27th is The International Day of People with Deafblindness, celebrated worldwide to draw attention upon the rights of people with deafblindness, which is why we chose this special day to invite you to join us online.

The project The Voice of People with Deafblindness in Romania aims to lay the basis and increase the capacity of a group of people with deafblindness, so that they become a voice able to fight for their rights. To ensure their access to the services they require, the project will specialise in a group of sign language interpreters in the field of deafblindness. In parallel, the project will increase the level of awareness through national campaigns to better know and understand deafblindness. The project will support people with deafblindness to have a voice, to be seen and heard.

Project implemented by Sense International Romania in partnership with Sense International UK with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Romania, programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
