The month of June is dedicated worldwide to a Helen Keller, the most representative person in the world of deafblindness who, despite totally lacking both hearing and vision, became a writer and a human rights pormoter, a true inspiration to all.
Her story can be discovered in the movie The Miracle Worker, and we celebrate her alongside children and young people during the International Helen Keller month, through various recreational activities. All these events organised within schools are an opportunity to remember this example of strength given by Helen Keller to the whole world.
Together with 9 of our partner schools we involved student in creative workshops, discussions and debates about Helen Keller, watching her movie, sports competitions, walks, poster creations, cooking events and many many others, that we will share with you over the next few days. We thank all our partners from the schools in Bucharest, Oradea, Galați, Iași, Timișoara, Arad, Craiova, Buzău and Focșani, who carefully planned the activities with the children, the youngsters and their parents and teachers. 🙂
